SCN President Dave Lucia (c.) presents the Distinguished Service Award to Nabil el Malt (l.) and his wife, Amany Amer at the annual awards banquet.

Two Antwerp-based companies received Special Service Awards for their background work in conference preparation and delivery.  Both appointed special staff to assist with all manner of things, as well as undertaking the planning and execution of special events and activities.
The Special Service Award winners are:
Dockx Logistics:  Dockx assisted with visa invitation letters, providing car service to and from the Brussels airport and fully arranging and funding the boat cruise of the port of Antwerp (our Thursday evening optional entertainment).  They were also the ones who arranged for the high government representative to greet our group at the Awards Banquet.
TPL (Transport and Project Logistics):  TPL also prepared visa invitation letters, arranged the golf outing and the MAS Museum virtual port and gallery tour, sponsored the elegant luncheon for attendees following that event, got our posters and banners printed locally, and arranged for the port representative who addressed the conference.
Lastly, many thanks to the companies who sponsored various things, including the general conference sponsor (International Logistic Gateway--Austria, Hungary and Czech Republic), the Welcome Reception sponsor (BC Logistics--Phoenix, USA) and the Awards Banquet sponsor (Trustful Logistics--Rotterdam, Netherlands).  Coffee break sponsors were Associated Transports, US Group (Paris, France), US Group (numerous offices in the US and Asia) and Transports Internationaux Roger Benaim (Paris, France).  Conference advertisers included Best Services International Freight of China (room keys) and Rotra Air and Ocean of The Netherlands and Belgium (badge holders).
Next year's conference will be held in Hong Kong in late February.
Thanks to all who joined the conference in Antwerp.
