Security Cargo Network's 2016 Conference slated for Barcelona

Saturday, November 21, 2015

Security Cargo Network will hold its 14th annual international conference in lovely Barcelona, Spain April 19--22, 2016.  As usual, the focus of the meeting will be the one-on-one business building sessions that are the feature attraction.  Dave Lucia

This year, however, the general sessions will emphasize new directions for the group, according to President Dave Lucia.  "We are undertaking some new programs and areas of emphasis, some of it based on discussions held last year in Santa Rosa (California)," Lucia said.  "Not to worry, though.  SCN will not change in any way what made it great.  We want to build on what we have been developing for a decade and a half," he continued.

Lucia said he hopes for a record turnout and urges members who do not usually attend the conferences or are new to the group to be on hand for this one.

Security Cargo Network was founded by Dave and Joyce Lucia in 2002 and today is comprised of 204 member companies operating 381 enrolled offices in 91 countries.  While the group is closed to new members in all of the largest sea and airport cities of the world, membership is available in many second-tier markets, particularly in Latin America, Africa, and Western Asia.
